The death of Monroe was widely discussed in the press. Unfortunately, hundreds of Americans were so impressed by this event that they decided to follow the example of the star and also committed suicide with the help of various drug. eanwhile, for many, the actress’s suicide did not look so obvious. For example, it was rumored that the indirect culprit of her death was the psychiatrist Ralph Greenson, who appointed Marilyn to take chloral hydrate after nembutal. Among them was Marilyn Monroe. He was informed that due to his close relations with the Kennedy brothers and Cuban leader Fidel Castro, she received strategically important information, which could, for example, be passed on to the Communists, which would harm America’s interests. Hodges commander Jimmy Hayworth demanded that the death of Monroe not look like a murder, but as an accident or suicide.

Marilyn Monroe (born Norma Jeane Mortenson; June 1, 1926 – August 4, 1962) was an American actress, model, and singer. Famous for playing comic "blonde bombshell" characters, she became one of the most popular sex symbols of the 1950s and early 1960s and was emblematic of the era's changing attitudes towards sexuality.

Lee Strasberg would deliver Marilyn Monroe's eulogy before her burial at Westwood Village Memorial Park where, for the next 20 years, red roses were placed in a vase attached to the crypt, courtesy of Joe DiMaggio.

Marilyn Monroe was a legend when she committed suicide in August of 1962, but in retrospect her life seems a gradual martyrdom to the media and to her public. After her death, Warhol based many works on the same photograph of her, a publicity still for the 1953 movie Niagara. He would paint the canvas with a single color-turquoise, green, blue, lemon yellow-then silkscreen Monroe's face on top, sometimes alone, sometimes doubled, sometimes multiplied in a grid

In the early hours of August 5, 1962, movie star Marilyn Monroe was reported dead in her home in Los Angeles, California. She had been found lying face down in her bed, naked and with her hands by her side. Greenson estimated that Monroe died around 12:30 AM, while undertaker Guy Hockett thought her time of death sometime between 9:30 and 11:30 PM. The autopsy, conducted by Dr. Thomas Noguchi, concluded that Monroe had overdosed on sedative drugs, possibly to commit suicide. Marilyn’s body being taken out of her home. Her death has since been surrounded in controversy, and many of her fans and admirers believe that she was given the pills against her will.

Even death seemed different to him-a place where she would be waiting, and one found himself standing at night in the doorway to a room of sleep, listening to a woman breathing, just an ordinary woman breathing. Fantastic aftermath about the mental state of attendants who carried the bead body of Marilyn Monroe has been brilliantly portrayed in this well deserved modern poem of the Day. (Report) Reply. Kevin Patrick (4/23/2019 8:29:00 PM). Don't know of the veracity of truth, but I will say its a compelling story, Monroe the symbol a paragon of feminine mystique and sensuality, reduced to nothing more then a rotten siff, a pile of decaying flesh. She was the dream girl of many a man (perhaps a few women) now shes just a dream. Thought provoking work, would make a really good short story.
