My Generation is the debut studio album by English rock band the Who, released on 3 December 1965 by Brunswick Records in the United Kingdom. In the United States, it was released on 25 April 1966 by Decca Records as The Who Sings My Generation, with a different cover and a slightly altered track listing.

While the execution was sometimes crude, and the songwriting not as sophisticated as it would shortly become, the Who never surpassed the pure energy level of this record.

The Who - My Generation (1965).

Polydor, who would release The Who’s recordings in the UK over the next two decades, didn’t own the rights to the album, which went out of print in the UK within 12 months of its release. For years no company seemed inclined to reissue the album in Britain until, curiously, Virgin picked it up in 1980 (V2179)

I just scored this version today! Its still in the original shrink and I kid you not the vinyl is Near mint with no scuffs or lights scratches what so ever. The only reason I say NEAR Mint is it has a few crackles in quite parts but no big deal. Got it for $1!!!!
