If the casual listener to whom this collection is intended recognizes the third track, "Por una Cabeza," that's because it has turned up in the film Scent of a Woman, as the music to which Al Pacino's blind character dances, as well as in the opening scene of the Arnold Schwarzenegger film True Lies. But it plays well, and beginning students of the tango can put it on for their practice sessions.

It's not the Best Tango Album in the World Ever! But it's pretty darn good. This is NOT an album where all the songs sound the same; there is a remarkable variety in the song selection. Second, if you are looking for tango dance music, you'll find that the tempo on many of the songs is not even enough to use for International Ballroom Tango or American Social Tango. A talented tanguero could pull off Argentine tango to several of the selections, however. For dancing the tango, I would recommend Bailemos Tango!: A Century of Tango on the Dance Floor (Rhino) by various artists or La Melodia De Nuestro Adios (El Bandoneon) by Francisco Canaro, both of which are traditional tango music.

Ever! is a compilation album brand from Circa Records (trading under the 'strategic marketing' brand name of EMI/Virgin Records). Ever! et., however on a number of indie music collections the genre aspect was replaced by a full list of artist names.

Ever! (2CD), The. Back. To ensure we are able to help you as best we can, please include your reference number: C0B9HGQ6NW.

Ever! features some major performers of the music, notably Carlos Gardel, renowned as the father of the tango, heard performing "Volver" and the concluding vocal version of "Mi Buenos Aires Querido," and Astor Piazzolla, who used the tango as a vehicle for composing modern classical music, heard performing "La Rayuela. Other notable performers include Carlos Garcia & His Orchestra, Sexteto Mayor, Florindo Sassone & His Traditional Orchestra, and Alfredo de Angelis & His Traditional Orchestra.

Various artists - best album in the world. Various artists - the best rock n roll album in the world.

The term Various Artists is used in the record industry when numerous singers and musicians collaborate on a song or collection of songs. fm, compilation album tracks appear under the name of Various Artists erroneously because the individual artist is not listed in the album's ID3 information.
