About Two Rights lyrics. Album Brothers Of The Road (1981). by The Allman Brothers Band. Cause two rights can't make up for one wrong I've spend so many nights alone One kiss can't make it disappear Even though you're here tonight Baby two rights can't make up for hurting someone. I guess you think it's all a game Someone gets hurt, someone gets blamed You don't seem to realize There's someone else In my eyes.
Beginnings, released in 1971, was a double album, combining The Allman Brothers Band's first two albums, The Allman Brothers Band and Idlewildsouth respectively, on one disc. It may just be my personal opinion, but I think the Allman Brothers are the kings of southern rock. It’s basically a two minute plus jam with fantastic guitar and percussion work, the result of two guitarists and two drummers. It bleeds into It’s Not My Cross To Bear, one of the strongest tracks on the CD, with a screaming guitar starting it off and Gregg Allman’s strong, tortured lyrics coming in at 44 seconds and continue throughout the song. A slow, sad, but strong blues song. Next up is Black Hearted Woman, a much more upbeat song although it’s about infidelity and catching a cheating woman with her backdoor man.
After 45 years, the Allman Brothers Band are calling time on their legendary career. In October, they will wrap it all up with six shows at a place that has become a second home to them, the Beacon Theatre in New York City. Before that, however, there is the 10th annual Mountain Jam festival at Hunter Mountain, . Not only will they close out the four-day event on Sunday, June 8, but they will play their first two albums, 'The Allman Brothers Band' and 'Idlewild South,' in their entirety. After that first album was released, the band toured a lot and really built a reputation, one city and one gig at a time, which is, of course, the way that bands had to do it back in those days. It seems like things were pretty chaotic and in the midst of it all, the band had a second album to make. 2019 Ultimate Classic Rock is part of the Loudwire Network, Townsquare Media, Inc.
